WOW it is cold out today. It was 2 degrees this morning. We’ve been camped out by the woodstove all day. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
One of the great things about my new Swan’s Island Bulky yarn obsession is that, well, it’s super warm. I decided to release this one early, too (thanks to my amazing test knitters and a lovely tech editor!) By the way, the bulky is still on sale until December 20th!
(on sale for a short time!)
It takes 3 skeins of Swan’s Island–2 for the MC and 1 for the CC (though you may want an extra skein…or eight). The great thing about this is that none of the rows involve using more than 1 color! The slip stitch texture, which is super easy, does all the work for you.
It’s an extremely fast knit and thus, perfect for Christmas (or just those of you who, like me, NEED to stay warm all the time. I’m just always cold. ALWAYSCOLD. bah).
Speaking of cold, can you SEE my goosebumps?
I have more bulky stuff in the works, and some fun worsted projects involving Lioness Arts yarn, Western Sky Knits, Malabrigo, Brooklyn Tweed, and of course, Swan’s.
This pattern is on sale for $3.00 until Christmas–no code needed! Keep warm, friends.
I’m going to go huddle down in the corner with some yarn by the fire and chug steaming hot chamomile tea.
